Saskatoon

Kurt and I made our way out to the Ink Alley Convention in Saskatoon the weekend before last.  We made a road trip out of it, so needless to say there weren't too many dull moments!  I met a lot of fantastic people, and the hospitality was unreal.  I was invited to help judge the tattoo contest for the weekend, and got to see some pretty interesting stuff to say the least!  A big thank you to the Rites of Passage Crew, Wanda and Sean Treble for being so accommodating.  Saskatoon was a blast!  On our way back home.....Kurt and I ran into one of the most interesting people ever....Old George!  Old George runs a museum out of a period home just west of Moosomin, SK.

Tredici Opening

I had fun checking out all of the paintings at the newest show "Tredici" at the Graffiti Gallery.  There were lots of great submissions from all sorts of local artists.  It was cool to see everyone's interpretations of the "13" theme.  My submission was a figure pulled from Sacred Geometry, thus the title "Sacred".  I used the Star Tetrahedron, which is one of many figures that can be derived from Metatron's Cube a figure which is created from 13 equal circles....

Here are a couple of shots from the night!  The display will be up until May 26th, so go check it out!
